Dear... The Stranger Who Might End My Life One Day
It’s a cold world out there, only gets colder by the day.
I have no doubt that one fateful, cold dawn, you and I will cross each other’s paths. Our entire lives, our entire histories, all lead to this moment. You, for one reason or another, will end my existence on this planet. Either by gun or knife, I will become just another shadow of the endless pain and misery in this land. You will continue on in the shadows, in misery and torment, as another lost and tortured soul. Don’t feel guilty or angry, just know that I will be glad that you ended my misery. It will hurt me, and I will likely resist, but it will be for the best.
I know you probably have a massively fucked up life and won’t care that my stupid face got blood on your clothes, but just remember that you’re taking a life. All the good and bad, fear and regret, laughter and sadness. I’m just like you, just another stranger at sea. It’s a very personal thing, and it’s eternal.
I pray that neither of us suffer in the endless void, and maybe we could find each other a second time. Until the day of reckoning, good luck.
