Hey there. It's been a long time since we last talked.
I met you in November 2018. That sounds so long ago, but it feels like yesterday.
I remember the first moment our eyes met. I knew I was going to fall in love with you. I don’t know how, but I just did.
You are the best thing that has ever happened to me. I never in my life imagined I would fall in love with a complete stranger, so far away from home, in a foreign country. And it took us three days to say the L word to each other.
It was real, what we had. I never doubted it.
You were the first person I ever loved, and I can still imagine your eyes when I close mine.
I wish things were different. I wish we didn’t have to part. But that’s life.
